FUEL TV Airs The 2007 Monster Energy Pipeline Pro

Fuel TVMonday, May 7, 2007

Airing Monday, May 7, 2007 at 12:00pm Eastern Time (9:00am Pacific Time), and re-airing eleven more times over the next month, FUEL TV will showcase the 2007 Monster Energy Pipeline Pro Presented by Billabong.

From Hawaii’s legendary Banzai Pipeline break, the 2007 Monster Energy Pipeline Pro attracted an all-star lineup of surfers including Rob Machado, Jamie O'Brien, Dane Reynolds, Fred Patacchia, and more looking to make a mark at one of the most dangerous waves in the world. The Monster Energy Pipeline Pro is a four-star rated ASP (Association Of Surfing Professionals) World Qualifying Series contest and holds valuable points for surfers who want to move up to the World Tour.

With more than $75,000 in prize money and valuable points on the line, the dramatic finals came down to local Jaime O’Brien edging out a tough field that included Australian dark horse Mark Mathews, defending champion Rob Machado, and Kauai rookie Gavin Gillette in maxing ten foot surf.

Make sure to catch all the action at The Monster Energy Pipeline Pro ‘07:
