EPS Epoxy Surfboard Ding Repair Step 2: "Ding Prep"

Step 2: "Ding Prep". Make sure the surfboard ding has dried out completely. Moisture left in the foam will cause discoloration and delamination over time. For this ding I cut out the compromised area using a mitre box saw and a razor blade.

The rail cuts were made using the mitre box saw and the deck and bottom cuts were made using a razor blade. Wear Eye Protection! Once the fiberglass is removed carefully cut the foam using the razorblade.
